Bio
Dr. Kara Gibbon is a proud Louisiana native who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minors in Chemistry and French. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, where she was actively involved in the Christian Medical & Dental Association and the American Student Dental Association. During her time there, she also served as a Super User and Clinic Captain for digital dentistry. Her commitment to excellence and leadership earned her induction into the Mu Mu chapter of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society.
Dr. Gibbon is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, and Bayou City Study Club. She is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and is dedicated to staying at the forefront of advances in dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr. Gibbon enjoys traveling, playing pickleball, and spending quality time with her husband, Connor, as well as their family and friends. She is a committed member of Houston’s First Baptist Church and is honored to serve the Cypress community as part of the Towne Lake Dentistry team.
